We are happy to introduce our team of therapists at ‘PSCHY’. We are currently a team of Licensed Clinical Psychologists (RCI-Rehabilitation Council of India) who have been in the practice for the past few years.

The team has a mutual interest and vision in making the mental health services access to all without any barriers. We are like-minded in terms of our mission and goals but has a diversified therapeutic orientation. We are determined to have a de-stigmatized and useful conversations around mental health, is queer friendly and is willing to get out of our comfort zones to provide the best mental health services for you.

Ms. Nimmy Michael

Meet Ms. Nimmy Michael – An Integrative Therapist Committed to Lasting Change

With 18 years of experience in the mental health field, I take an integrative therapy approach—blending evidence-based techniques to meet the unique needs of adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My goal is to empower individuals to navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.

 

I hold an MPhil from NIMHANS and a PG Diploma in Supervision in Mental Health Practices from TISS, Mumbai, equipping me with the expertise to provide both therapy and professional supervision. My practice is rooted in collaboration, offering a safe and supportive space for self-exploration, healing, and transformation.

 

Beyond therapy, I find joy in traveling, cooking, movies, and nature walks—experiences that broaden my perspective and enhance my understanding of human connection.

Hi, I’m Hannah Mayan, a licensed therapist with a Master of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from IMHANS, Kozhikode. With six years of experience in mental health, I specialize in psychodynamic psychotherapy, crafting a personalized approach that meets your unique needs.

Dr. Noorjahan Kannanjeri

Meet Dr. Noorjahan Kannanjeri – Your Partner in Mental Well-Being

Hello, I am Dr. Noorjahan Kannanjeri, a Psychiatric Social Worker and psychotherapist with advanced training in mental health care and a PhD in Social Work. I work with individuals and families experiencing emotional distress, trauma, relationship difficulties, substance use concerns, and challenges across different life stages.

My Therapeutic practice is rooted in empathy, careful listening, and clinical clarity. I offer individual counselling and psychotherapy using psychosocial and trauma-informed approaches, integrating emotional, relational, and social dimensions of mental well-being. I am particularly attentive to the lived experiences of women, single parents, children, and individuals from vulnerable or marginalised backgrounds.

I have gained clinical experience in diverse settings, including de-addiction centres, childcare institutions, academic environments, and community mental health programs. This allows me to work not only with personal distress, but also with the family, social, and systemic contexts that shape mental health.
I believe psychotherapy is a collaborative process—one that honours each person’s story, pace, and strengths while gently working toward healing and resilience.

In addition to clinical practice, I am actively involved in research, training, and child protection work, which continually informs my ethical and reflective approach to therapy. I am a Registered Psychiatric Social Worker with the Kerala State Mental Health Authority.

Ms. Hena sunil K

Meet Ms .Hena Sunil – Supporting Children, Adolescents, and Families

Hello, I’m Hena Sunil K, a Child Psychologist and Rehabilitation Psychologist (RCI Licensed) with a strong commitment to supporting children’s emotional growth and well-being. I currently work as a therapist at Pschy, offering therapeutic support for children and families facing emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.

I hold an M.Sc. and PGDRP from the University of Calicut and bring over six years of experience in child psychology and disability. My work is guided by the belief that every child can thrive with the right emotional support, guidance, and environment.

Throughout my career, I have worked with children experiencing anxiety, depression, social withdrawal, selective mutism, behavioral difficulties, and emotional regulation issues, as well as those with Intellectual Disability, Learning Disability, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Conduct Disorder. I also support parents through counseling, psychoeducation, and family-based interventions to help them create nurturing environments.

In addition to clinical practice, I have contributed to early identification and support programs for children at risk of learning difficulties, serving as an Early Detectionist and Research Assistant in Learning Disabilities.

My approach is integrative and child-centered, drawing from Behavioral Therapy, CBT, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I focus on understanding the child within their psychosocial context and tailor each session to enhance emotional resilience, self-expression, and adaptive coping skills. I aim to create a warm and supportive space where children feel heard and understood.

Outside my professional work, I enjoy singing, art and craft, vlogging, and spending time with my family. These creative interests help me stay balanced and bring a sense of mindfulness that enriches my therapeutic practice.

Hi, I’m Deepthi—a reflective and compassionate therapist offering a space where your thoughts, feelings, and story can unfold safely. My work is grounded in psychoanalytic thinking, while also drawing from a range of approaches when helpful. I bring a trauma-focused lens to therapy, always mindful of what feels manageable and meaningful for you.

Over the years, I have worked extensively in individual and family therapy, supporting clients through a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. I also have substantial experience working with individuals struggling with addiction, offering compassionate and evidence-informed care to promote long-term recovery and resilience.
